anthony vaccarello unveils saint laurent menswear collection
Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2026 menswear show took place inside the atmospheric rotunda of Paris’s Bourse de Commerce, where Japanese architect Tadao Ando’s concrete cylinder became a bold backdrop. This season’s scenography embraced stillness and natural light, casting the fashion house’s vision in soft relief against clinamen — a recently unveiled immersive sound installation by French artist Céleste Boursier-Mougenot.
The large water basin set into the museum’s circular floor, holding floating porcelain bowls that drift and collide gently and emit soft, melodic chimes. The installation doubled as a set piece for Anthony Vaccarello’s show, echoing his collection’s tonal restraint and synched silhouettes.

The setting marked a notable shift for Saint Laurent. Traditionally the show is staged at night, but Anthony Vaccarello’s decision to show in the clarity and rawness of afternoon light — what he called ‘a deliberate rupture’ —amplified the show’s reflective atmosphere. Encircled by Tadao Ando’s cylindrical structure and the rippling sounds of clinamen, the audience was invited into what the fashion house described as ‘a suspended moment, somewhere between Paris and Fire Island.’
