These LEGO Snow Globes Are The Perfect Stocking Stuffer For Brick-Lovers!

Three globes, three distinct Christmas visuals, three absolute vibes. Made with a total of just 385 pieces, this MOC (My Own Creation) from LEGO builer ItzEthqn captures the holiday spirit perfectly, and for anyone who wants to customize the globes with something of their own, these designs seem absolutely modular, allowing you to replace the inner scene with anything of your choice for a more custom/bespoke snow globe!

“Now I know what you may be thinking, ‘Isn’t it a bit early for Christmas?’ and the answer is absolutely not its never too early for Christmas,” says ItzEthqn (who probably goes by the name Ethan. The globes – two large and one small – are the perfect way to usher in the holiday spirit… especially if you’re a LEGO lover like I am.

The globes come in 3 distinct variants, the smallest of which features a tiny little snowman, top hat, scarf, carrot, branches and all. The snowman sits within a fairly comfy 3-piece ‘glass’ orb. The orb sits on a gold, green, and red banded base, quite like the kind you find in novelty shops and Hallmark outlets.

The other two snow globes are a tad bit larger, featuring slightly more elaborate scenes. The first, a Christmas tree, complete with a star topper as well as gifts at the bottom. The larger glass orb now features a 2-part design, and the slightly larger base also has a snowflake brick embedded on the front for extra holiday flair. The other snow globe features our old friend Nicholas (also known world over as Santa) on his trusty sled, with gifts in the boot. ItzEthqn does mention that he wanted to bejewel the globes with stickers too, but that detail kept crashing his computer as he added stickers to the globe.

That being said, there’s a lot that you can do with this framework. Upgrade it with minifigures of your own, make tiny versions with different designs and themes, or even use it to display your Hot Wheels collection, the cars might be a tight fit but I’m sure you can figure it out! The other tiny caveat here is that these snow globes don’t actually have any snow in them, so feel free to chuck in some tiny confetti to make these globes feel like the real deal!

ItzEthqn’s fan-made snow globe design is currently gathering votes on the LEGO Ideas website, an online forum where LEGO enthusiasts share their own creations and vote for their favorites. With well over 2,600 votes, this MOC is slowly but surely inching towards the coveted 10K vote mark, following which it’ll be reviewed by LEGO’s internal team and ‘hopefully’ turned into a retail kit that all of us can buy. Scamp X: After 54 Years, the Iconic Egg Camper Finally Goes Off-Road

After more than five decades of crafting lightweight fiberglass travel trailers in Backus, Minnesota, Scamp Trailers has unveiled something entirely new. The Scamp X marks the company’s first purpose-built off-road model, transforming the beloved “egg camper” into a rugged adventure machine that refuses to let pavement dictate your destination. The most striking update sits underneath. Scamp swapped its traditional axle for a Timbren independent long-travel suspension system, giving each wheel the freedom to articulate over challenging terrain without transferring shock to its twin.

This setup works alongside beefy ST235/75R15 off-road tires and an impressive 18 inches of ground clearance. The approach and departure angles measure 17 and 22 degrees, respectively, making genuine backcountry exploration accessible to drivers who previously limited themselves to established campgrounds. Outside, the Scamp X sheds its cheerful aesthetic for something more tactical. A black Fiamma awning replaces the usual chrome fittings, while a custom roof rack provides mounting points for up to 400 watts of solar panels. The watchmaker has raised the bar for watch boxes with its concept that’s more than a winder. The new Audemars Piguet AI-powered watch box is a setting device that tunes a perpetual calendar in just five minutes.

After the amazing Marvel-themed Royal Oak Concept and the Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon “Companion”, AP is now changing the watchmaking industry with the latest innovation that goes beyond the wrist. The setting box designed to adjust the company’s 41mm Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar is a robotic system, which uses AI to read and interpret the watch and set its functions like a human, without actually using human intervention.

Perpetual Calendar watches are fascinating to say the least. But their complicated mechanism, which automatically sets the date right throughout the year, taking into account the varying lengths of the month is more complicated to set right if it faulters, than the word complicated itself. Instead of the special corrections that this precise adjustment requires, the AP box can set it right in minutes automatically. Box upon placing the perpetual calendar timepiece in it uses a “camera to capture the dial configuration and analyse which calendar indications require adjustment.” And then using a combination of “robotics, computer vision, and AI” completes the setting operation in approximately five minutes.

The exciting watch box offers a quick and effective solution to the long-time barrier that has kept perpetual calendars from becoming collectors’ favorites. The AP’s intelligent setting device is a fruit of two years of partnership between the watchmaker and Dubai Future Foundation (DFF). The device meant to automatically set and wind its latest 41 mm Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar wristwatches was presented recently, for the first time, during the Dubai Watch Week.

The box is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and has a clean design packed in a 20 x 12 x 15 cm dimensions, weighing only two kgs. It has been specially created to automatically adjust and wind 41mm Audemars Piguet perpetual calendar powered by the caliber 7138. The box is currently available to Ref. 26674ST.OO.1320ST.01 and 26674SG.OO.1320SG.01 owners, which are the two 2025 Royal Oak Perpetual Calendars, can auto-correct via the “all-in-one” crown and now benefit from the setting box, offering services to automate one of watchmaking’s most intricate complications.
