The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yankodesign.com\/2025\/10\/23\/nike-project-amplify-powered-footwear-designed-to-make-movement-accessible\/\">Project Amplify<\/a>, which we have apprised you with previously, is the first powered pair of shoes for walking and running. It\u2019s created to help athletes of all stripes go \u201ca bit faster and farther,\u201d with less effort. The neuroscience-based footwear is designed to augment the body and mind of the wearer before the game.<\/p>\n<p>Designer: <a href=\"https:\/\/about.nike.com\/en\/newsroom\/releases\/nike-mind-001-mind-002-official-images\/Eric-Avar\">Nike<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat if you could enhance your pregame routine with mind-altering science?\u201d This is exactly what Nike is asking on the product page of the two footwear: Mind 001 and Mind 002 (Men and Women sizes) designed under the Nike Mind platform. This new shoe is Nike\u2019s first neuroscience-based footwear, which is designed to tap into the mind and body connection of the wearer by activating the sensory receptors in the feet.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>These shoes help athletes train in them pre- and post-game to lock their mindset as 22 individually articulated nodes on the outsoles of these shoes \u2013 working like aquapuncture \u2013 move up and down, pushing against your foot with every step. The connection of nodes with the feet engages the brain\u2019s sensory areas to help the person stay present and connected with their surroundings. Engaging the wearer\u2019s senses can help keep the mind active at all times, so they can be more present in the moment and not be linked to what will happen or what happened during the game\/competition.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Made by the Mind Science Department of the company, Mind 001 and Mind 002 have been through a scientific and manufacturing process perfected over a decade now that athletes can don to better, train, compete, or recover. Both silhouettes flaunt a soft foam midsole for comfortable, robust cushioning, while their knitted upper ensures breathability. The nodes on the footbed are positioned within fabric for easy maneuverability and soft cushioning against the foot.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>According to Nike, both shoes will be made available starting January 2026 through Nike.com.
