The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/restaurant-interiors\/\"><strong>caf\u00e9 and bakery<\/strong><\/a> take a timeless approach to contemporary space-making \u2014 grounded in high-quality, locally sourced products and a strong material sensibility. Inside, a raw yet composed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/brutalist-architecture\/\"><strong>brutalist<\/strong><\/a> palette defines the atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Exposed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/concrete-architecture-and-design\/\"><strong>concrete<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/steel\/\"><strong>metal<\/strong><\/a> structures, dark <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/wood-and-timber-architecture\/\"><strong>wood<\/strong><\/a>, and pared-back industrial lighting form the backbone of the interior, while accents of color in the upholstery and wall-mounted artworks offset the otherwise neutral environment. Despite their different uses, both areas are stitched together by a consistent material and spatial language. All furnishings \u2014 tables, stools, chairs, lighting, and even the service counter \u2014 were custom-designed by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.formant.studio\/\"><strong> Mexico City-based<\/strong><\/a> FORMANT Studio to reflect the project\u2019s functional needs and aesthetic restraint.
