This <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/exhibition-design\/\">exhibition<\/a><\/strong>, part of the European Cultural Centre\u2019s \u2018Time Space Existence\u2019 exhibition during <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/venice-architecture-biennale-2025\/\">Venice Architecture Biennale 2025<\/a><\/strong>, serves as an immersive spatial narrative, distilling the firm\u2019s design ethos into a powerful experience. It is a meditation on how architecture can transcend mere form and function, inviting visitors to engage with space as a layered and deeply felt construct.<\/p>\n<p>all images by Patricia Parinejad unless stated otherwise<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Crafting Atmosphere\u2019 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.materiarq.com\/Crafting_Atmosphere\">exhibition<\/a><\/strong>, presented by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/materiarq.com\/\">MATERIA + Gustavo Carmona<\/a><\/strong>, is structured around three core design strategies, each articulated on a distinct wall to form a conceptual triptych: \u2018Transitional Thresholds\u2019, \u2018Subtractive Light\u2019, and \u2018Transformative Skins\u2019. \u2018Transitional Thresholds\u2019 explores the power of liminal spaces \u2013 the portals and pauses that create temporal resonance. \u2018Subtractive Light\u2019 emphasizes the sculpting of space through voids, allowing light to become a primary material that frames and intensifies experience.
