My first thought was &#8220;Those look cool as hell,&#8221; and my second thought was &#8220;Those have to be a nightmare for contractors to install.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>I think I&#8217;m right on both counts. Here&#8217;s the installation procedure if you&#8217;re putting them in drywall:<\/p>\n<p><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how you&#8217;d do it behind stone, glass, tile or millwork:<\/p>\n<p><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p>And behind concrete:<\/p>\n<p><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s interesting to see the designers also had to come up with the special tool to remove the outlets for maintenance.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>As someone who works with contractors, I can tell you that by spec&#8217;ing these, you are partially responsible for their hair going grey faster.
