Saint Laurent\u2019s Spring\/Summer 2026 menswear show took place inside the atmospheric rotunda of Paris\u2019s Bourse de Commerce<\/strong><\/a>, where Japanese architect Tadao Ando\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> concrete cylinder became a bold backdrop. This season\u2019s scenography embraced stillness and natural light, casting the fashion house\u2019s vision in soft relief against clinamen<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 a recently unveiled immersive sound installation by French artist C\u00e9leste Boursier-Mougenot.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The large water basin set into the museum\u2019s circular floor, holding floating porcelain bowls that drift and collide gently and emit soft, melodic chimes. The installation doubled as a set piece for Anthony Vaccarello\u2019s show, echoing his collection\u2019s tonal restraint and synched silhouettes.<\/p>\n

The setting marked a notable shift for Saint Laurent. Traditionally the show is staged at night, but Anthony Vaccarello\u2019s decision to show in the clarity and rawness of afternoon light \u2014 what he called \u2018a deliberate rupture\u2019\u00a0 \u2014amplified the show\u2019s reflective atmosphere. Encircled by Tadao Ando\u2019s cylindrical structure and the rippling sounds of clinamen, the audience was invited into what the fashion house<\/strong> <\/a>described as \u2018a suspended moment, somewhere between Paris and Fire Island.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
