The Professional winner in the Interaction <\/a>category was Vega Connect: A Dual Interface Robot<\/a> from Dexmate. Led by Xiaomeng Tang, the team of Xueyun Tang, Xi Pang, Yuzhe Qin and Tao Chen collaborated on the final product – an innovative robotic interaction system designed to bring advanced robotics into everyday homes through intuitive, human-centered design. Vega Connect reimagines the human-robot interface through a dual-interface system that translates complex robotics into simple, natural interactions.<\/p>\n

The winning Student entry for Interaction was PiggyPay<\/a> created by Yixin Zhu in collaboration with Chenxi Li, Signe Lindgren and Simon Ljungblahd at Ume\u00e5 Institute of Design. The PiggyPay system transforms money management into a multi-sensory experience, integrating sound, movement, and tactile interaction. By rethinking how we engage with money, PiggyPay fosters financial awareness and encourages mindful spending and saving with every interaction.<\/p>\n

The jury team for the Interaction<\/a> category was led by Jury Captain Jodi Cutler senior design director at H-E-B. Cutler led this jury which included Adriana Morales a Design Principal at H-E-B, Maui Francis the UX Manager & Design Lead at Google, and Kathryn Marinaro who is Creative Director at argodesign.<\/p>\n

While the 2025 Core77 Design Awards <\/a>Interaction<\/a> category features interactive content and user interface design for websites, mobile devices and experiential installations. This category includes software, mobile apps, interactive projections, products with embedded user interface, animations, simulations, and robotics. <\/p>\n
