Emergency vet care was required to remove it. London subsequently designed this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bowwowlabs.com\/products\/bow-wow-buddy\">Bow Wow Buddy<\/a>, which is essentially UI design for dogs.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>You insert one end of the stick into the device, then turn the dial at the end, which drives a large screw to clamp the stick against spikes molded into the interior of the object. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Dogs cannot dislodge the stick (provided it&#8217;s thick enough), so they simply chew it down until no part of it is accessible. And the profile of the object provides an ergonomic paw-hold. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>When they&#8217;re done, the owner removes that last inch of stick and discards it.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s made of BPA-free nylon, is manufactured in the U.S., comes in multiple sizes, and runs $28 to $38. <\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bully-stick-style dog treats aren&#8217;t form-follows-function, but form-follows-manufacturing-source-material.
